Taking it easy.....

My garden has been a preschool, nursery school or kindergarten today. With a bright blue sky above and a little breeze the juniors from the sparrow family have been mingling and flapping their tiny wings, chirping with excitment and taking little steps with learning to fly. Meanwhile the junvenile starlings and blackbirds have been gliding through the garden from tree to tree swooping with the light glistening on their feathers. Nearly thought I was going to get knocked out at one stage when the swooping got quite low as their confidence grew.

I couldn't resist posting this shot today, this little bee wiggled his way into the foxglove and on the way out decided to flop down and have a wee breather, love his little leg hanging onto the flower - it must get awfully hot in there!
