WWU Sculpture

I took this photo from the courtyard near the Performing Arts Center at Western Washington University as we relaxed before the second concert of the Bellingham Festival of Music. Dave and Nora came up and joined Shelly and me for dinner before the concert. We went to the pre concert talk about string quartets and how playing in one is quite different from playing in an orchestra. Then we heard one of the best upcoming young quartets, the Calidore String Quartet. They are amazing and the viola player is from Bellingham. They leave for Europe tomorrow.
