Vines Waiting For the Pruners...

All over Marlborough grapevines are being pruned. There would be well over 25,000 hectares in grapes now so there is a huge amount of pruning to be done. Many members of pruning gangs have been brought here under special work schemes from Pacific islands and also Thailand.
They are brilliant workers and the different cultures make for a richer community here in Marlborough.
