Notice anything missing?

Dear Diary,

The evidence is starting to pile up.  I think a rather large creature is visiting my yard at night.  First, it dislodged a really large and heavy stone from my back stone wall.  Then it dug a pretty deep hole in front next to a chipmunk burrow and now this.  The cement bird bath is heavy so it took some force to topple it.

Conclusion?  I am suspecting a black bear is doing a bit of exploring around the house.  I will keep an eye out for more signs.  There are quite a few bears in the hills around me and I have had them in the yard in the past but not for a long time.  On a more positive note, it is Daylily season!  More and more each day.  They love the hot dry weather.  This heat is killing me though.  I spent yesterday working on my Appledore photobook and watching my dvr in the airconditioned bedroom!  MOTS today (that's "more of the same"!)
