Gulp!

This mural is 5 years old and looking a bit worse for wear. It’s part of a much larger mural created for the 2013 Chichester Street Art Festival, a rare survivor after protests caused most of the murals to be painted over. One or two survive, there is a lovely cat I'll show you sometime.

The artist is Francisco Silva aka NUNCA, born in Brazil in 1983. His tag, Nunca, mean ‘Never’ in Portuguese. The theme of his murals is usually his roots, finding his origins in such a big country, rich with cultural differences. This is clearer from the  whole mural than from this detail of the fish eating the St Pancras sign is on the side of the Cathedral Garage.
