Hay fever on its way out

The pollen count is falling at last as the hot weather turns the grass to seed. There has been a lot of hay-making too. Things look a bit end-of-summer and we're only just into July.

Had a walk at Auchinstarry today. Lots of duckings and cygnets, lilies flowering in the water and wildflowers all along the towpath. We seem to be in for another dry week with temperatures climbing again.
