A bluer shade of pale.

Saw a lovely patch of blue at the roadside today and stopped to have a closer look. Three or four feet tall, with slender stems and bullet-shaped buds, I believe that this is common chicory, Cichorium intybus. 

A lovely shade of pale blue, with delicately toothed ends to the petals, a beautiful, if rather straggly, plant.
