MonoMonday: Patience

..... is a virtue with which I have never been particularly blessed.

As for the card game here, my Mum used to play innumerable games of it, especially once she'd retired. It's strange that, when my parents were the age I am now, retirement was expected to be, and was in their case, a far more sedentary experience than it is today.

I gues we can be grateful for better health care and more spare money and opportunity to enjoy active retirements. A propos of which, we enjoyed a swim in the outdoor pool at lunch time and will be off to Keep Fat later
