Lady’s Slipper Orchid
A special orchid high up on Malham Moor. The flower’s pattern is particularly pretty and detailed. It used to quite wide spread, and in the 1700s was sold in the local market as cut flowers! Today it’s rare but efforts by the National Park means it is growing in numbers.
