God's island

The last day of our Argyll trip.

Ferry across to Tarbert, stopping to buy some shellfish. Then jumped round to the ferry to Gigha. Our first time visiting, what a magical place.

We had great chats about politics and community ownership, wandered round the beautiful gardens, took in the views to Islay and Jura, and then headed for the best meal of the trip at the Boathouse.

The views sitting eating were great, and looking back from the ferry - my blip - even better.

A smooth run home up the Kintyre peninsula, through Inveraray, Arrochar and down Loch Lomond side and home.

Extras are the view across to Islay, the boats viewed from the Boathouse restaurant and the Paps of Jura.
