Down the Firth of Clyde ...
...to the blue tip of Arran and beyond. A perfect afternoon to walk high above the golf course at Strone Point, to look down the river and along the Holy Loch, noting the enlarged view brought about by the felling of the forest and reflecting on just how long it has been since I walked up here. A walk with my pal, talking all the way, the same walk we took the first time we decided to spend some time together as opposed to just meeting at church.
And how I remember that time! The hilarity when we realised the shared experiences that informed our daftest utterances, from the Celtic Rune of Hospitality to Billy Bunter by way of Winnie the Pooh ...
And 20 years later we're just as daft. Good, eh?
