J's swim

Bit of time to get ready before heading down to J’s swim. Managed to get right to the event start line and parked up. Seems that we shouldn’t have done that but no one stopped us. J registered and found out that because not all the tow floats people had ordered had arrived and it was flat calm they didn’t need them. Annoying as we had bought one of the organisers brand as that was their policy and you couldn’t use your own. Kilda had a bit of a swim while we waited for J to be taken to Holy island for the swim back. While J was on the swim the B’s arrived. J came in after 48 minutes and she was happy with that time for the 2K swim. Headed back to the campsite for the B’s to setup and had a BBQ. Opened the keg of Punk, which tasted OK. Lots of midges around and loads in the camper when we went to bed.
