Patience

These heritage tomatoes have been a long time coming. They should grow to be yellow when full size and are a lovely teardrop shape.

Tomato growing, in terms of, these heritage varieties take a lot of patient nurturing and diligent watering when the weather is so amazingly hot. They are getting watered twice a days and very consistently, I’ve even used tomato feed for the first time ever. I think about the Tarot temperance card when I’m watering these - it’s all about careful balance! In contrast my typical tomatoes are coming on well and seem to be very easy to grow in comparison. I think I have 10-12 plants on the go at the mo!
