MonoMonday - Patience

The theme for today's MonoMonday is to be taken from the seven sins or seven virtues.I chose 'Patience'. I sat down in the garden this afternoon and trained the camera lens on the lavender which was teeming with bees and butterflies. The butterflies took off bu the bees were having a ball. It was quite difficult to get a good macro with the stiff breeze but I decided to be Patient. All of a sudden a Hummingbird Hawk Moth flew into my vision. I see one every day but this is the first time I have had the camera at the ready. I was quite excited and fumbled a bit with the settings but it stayed around for a few minutes to get some good shots. I have added a colour extra as well.
