… at stool.
 
About 35 years ago I made the stool shown at top centre in my first evening class ever. It has been a trusty servant but the blockboard finally began to collapse. Yes, maybe I could have saved it but I thought it was time to move on.
 
The new version is slightly higher and slightly wider in order to cater for the new market that is slightly less bendy and slightly broader in the beam.  It incorporates oak flooring provided by my brother-in-law. It should “see me out”.
 
The side views show how a wood worker relies upon meticulous order. I think that I would fit right in in Ogatodomar’s workshop.

DIY tip. Avoid trying to saw through oak
