Corner shop

Like when we were kids and our mums could buy the amount they wanted instead of the predetermined amount in a packet, have a conversation with the shopkeeper about this versus that, taste the cheese... When a grocer was a grocer, not a 'mixed business' - before we somehow started calling a shop a 'store'... When you paid in cash and everything fitted in a string bag because the shop was just down the road, so you could easily go every day and it was a pleasant little outing...
Sigh!
