Skye
What a wonderful day again today.
I needed to collect my daughter from the other side of the country but I had to take a driving lesson first. So, after the lesson I ventured up to the Isle of Skye. It's about a 4 hour drive which flew by. A brief stop at the tree I photographed back in the winter in the extra here.
Finally arriving in the busy town of Kyle of Lochalsh. It's a busy little harbour town but especially today where they were off loading the blades for giant wind turbines. However no time to stop and watch the extraordinary logistics of trying to move them onto the streets of a tiny highland village. I needed to return back down home. So a short stop of about 10 mins and I was back on my travels south.
What a very enjoyable day with such amazing scenery.
In the extras - Eileen Donan Castle, The Skye bridge with Cullens behind and Kyle of Lochalsh harbour where the ferry used to leave from before they built the bridge.
