Crested crane

After a very interesting night spent in a camp with hippos and warthogs outside our tents we had an early start to do a walk in Lake Mburo National Park waking up with the animals, so peaceful.

The Crested Crane is the official bird of Uganda. The three colours of Uganda, black, yellow, and red, are contained in it's plumage.
