IN STEAM

A combination of pulling power for the Noon train from Pickering Station today. Leading inbound was steam locomotive 76079 . . . a Standard 4 BR engine, built in Horwich in 1957 and used for mixed-traffic duties. Heading the train outbound was Class 25 diesel D7628 Sybilla . . . built in Manchester 1965, and shown as an extra in diesel.
