Wonderful Shropshire

Just had a memorable few days in Ludlow celebrating my wife's 60th birthday.

We were joined over the weekend by our children and their partners, which made it extra-special.

We've had meals out, river swims, long walks in the stunning countryside and strolls around Ludlow town centre itself. I've never been before and was taken aback by the town's beauty and its wealth of historic buildings.

I also had the added joy of meeting up with an old school pal I hadn't seen in 37 years.

All in all, a wonderful few days. And my wife is going home with memories of a perfect birthday.
