Evening Shadows...
Today is the calm before the storm. A day of relaxation and socialising before the holiday prep takes over.
David and Kenny were playing golf at 10am. I had an NHS Physio appt. at 1pm (almost cancelled it since I’m seeing K privately but went ahead and glad I did as she’s given me a different set of exercises that compliment K’s)
Ele arrived just before 2pm and we met David and Kenny at the golf club for lunch.
Ele and I sat in the garden for the rest of the afternoon while the men sorted the roof boxes for ours and Alan’s car. Afterwards they joined us.
When the heat of the sun wasn’t quite so hot Lola joined us. She’s so funny in the garden. Everything is a great adventure and she’s so keep to dig explore :-)) She calmed down eventually and enjoyed the shade.
We were just about to head indoors for dinner when my phone pinged and it was an email from the Royal Photograpic Society advising me that I’ve made the shortlist of their June photography competition with this photo
I am completely astonished but absolutely delighted. I entered 5 images (the maximum allowed) and almost changed this one for another but David said he preferred this one. Thanks D!
Three winners will be chosen from the shortlist and I’ll know by 9th July if my image is one of them. I’m not expecting it to be but I’m over the moon at making the shortlist :-))
Might just have a wee gin to celebrate :-))
