On a walk down to the Lake with Lula, this is across the lane from our Land.

The countryside looks so different now from when we left at the beginning of June. No more flowers, the crops all cut, leaving the fields golden. Today was the first really hot day, but cooling off this evening. Mike has been putting up shade cloth, and we moved the caravan further from our house, to make space for shade for the car.
