Puss Moth caterpillar

Another scorching day, but we were needed for a caterpillar search, so we spent the morning on hands and knees crawling through Aspen and Birch scrub and coarse grasses! Of course, we didn’t find the one we wanted because the seasons have all speeded up and ours would have pupated. We will have to look for the adults soon, which is a much more pleasant activity!
However, I found this Puss Moth caterpillar munching Aspen and decided it was quite attractive!
