Last days of Autumn..

This little loch in the grounds of the University of Stirling, is surrounded by trees displaying the failing remnants of Autumn. I suppose we can't complain given Autumn has lasted this long in Scotland, but not many miles north of here there is already winter snow lying on mountain peaks.

Soon the snell blast of winter wind will be our companion for around four months. And those oh so short winter days are going to make finding good daylight blips all the more difficult. But we shall get there with a little effort and the odd wee dram!
