War time shop
The Toads fueled up on the full English breakfast at the B&B which we needed as we had a long walk through The Happy Valley and a route march (mrToad used to be in the army) across the Great Orme not quite to the top where the tram stops (unfortunately not running in winter) then following the tram tracks down to the bottom again (very, very steep)
We had a look around the Homefront Museum which was small but packed full of 1940's wartime memorability.
We were handed a torch each as we went in and followed the passage through little shopfronts decked out with all their goods, groceries, toys, clothes etc. of the period along to 1940 music & an Anderson shelter complete with air raid sound effects to get you in the mood.
