These hot, sleepless nights have totally sapped the last of my energy, a very quiet day. But a much cooler day, only 23 degrees, and an overcast day, with the odd sunny spell, we even had rain this afternoon! Just a shower, but enough to give the garden a brief drink, and leave that lovely earthy smell you always get when rain falls on very dry ground…
