Tricky 24 hours

After a horribly tense England match last night against Columbia in the World Cup (did we really win on penalties?), L became ill at about 10:30pm. She proceeded to vomit about 7 times between then and 7:30am. Poor little girl.

Thankfully I am off on Wednesdays so I cancelled swimming and we hunkered down together at home.

By mid afternoon she was much more her usual self and we had a little play outside in the garden. Sadly at storytime tonight she was sick again... I hope she gets some sleep tonight and feels a lot better tomorrow. She won’t be going to nursery, whatever sort of night she has.

“Mummy, L did a big sick.” Poor baby.
