Down the Hatch

Only had 20 minutes or so at lunchtime to grab some sun, and spotted a group of juvenile Swallows on the tram wires, seemingly waiting to be fed. Frustrating not to be able to stay longer, but managed to grab a few moments of the parents coming back with food, and doing all of the feeding on the wing.

A big crop of this shot showed a little cricket being swallowed (if you'll pardon the pun) whole!
