Allium
The Alliums flower buds I blipped in mid June have now opened. The bees love them.
I am spending an inordinate time outside every evening watering plants to keep them alive (I am mindful of the need to conserve water, so abandoned the hose some time ago). This very dry weather is set to continue for another week at least.
The advantage of being out with a watering can at well past 10 pm is seeing hummingbird hawkmoths feeding on the lavender flowers - the night bees. Haven't seen those for a few years.
