Skye grooming the SURVIVOR

Today I did not spend much time on the farm. I had to go to town and buy animal food and also take one of the trucks in for its service. I got back just after 12. As soon as I got back I had to rush to get the milk ready for the lambs. Yes, I do mean lambs.

I have a second lamb to look after. This is not good at all. It looks like the sheep on the farm are struggling to raise their own babies, weak mother means a weak baby. There is not much that we can do to improve the sheep, the best option is to keep an eye on them the next breeding season and see if they have improved or not. If not, they will then be slaughtered. It is harsh to say this but keeping a weak sheep is not going to bring you any profit.

In this blip I was very lucky to get this shot, this happened just after I fed them, looks like Skye wants to be the mommy of these two lambs. This was a very special moment, now I know that Skye will not hurt them but instead protect them.
