Table Numbers and Spoons

I try, as a rule, to avoid pubs and cafes that require the customer to give table numbers or indeed in this case, take a spoon to staff when ordering.

It’s just a thing. Prejudice even.

Today though was a pleasant experience in one such establishment. Hasn’t changed my mind.
