At its best

The city is looking at its best in the sunshine. I notice there are hanging baskets everywhere around. I wonder if that means the "Britain's in Bloom" judges are visiting the city soon. Maybe the weather will hold out for them, though it could be looking doubtful. There was more cloud today (though not in this photo) and the wind was quite blustery but not cold.
