A very special evening

One of our neighbours heard a visitor playing the violin in the home of another neighbour . Through the door! He asked if the violinist would be willing to give a short recital one evening in my home ( ! ) and they said yes. Hope you’re still following this!

Several month passed and so it came to pass. This lady and our neighbour gave us ,and a few other neighbours , a recital of eclectic music from Baroque, Bach , Irish jigs and ballads. Our quiet neighbour then suddenly surprised us by joining in with a trained voice and renditions of classic ballads!! Music was paced with explanation and history.

And it all happened in our lounge!!

I was impressed and sorry I didn’t take a great pic to support the occasion.

It was fantastic .
