I just didn't see him!

Well done to all those who had a look at the mystery object in yesterday's night late blip.

The object is a a brass button stick, or button guard. Used mostly in the forces, jacket buttons are slid into the slot and the brass plate keeps the brasso off the fabric.

And the praize goes to....... Brammac who was first to name the object correctly. with special mention to UrsaMinor who knew what it was for, but not the name.

MrJohn should also be mentioned in dispatches as he thought it was named Gary, whereas we all know it is Steve

Oh, and the controversy about the word Praize.

It's my own invention. It's a cross between praise and prize because the prize is praise.
It should be said in the way the Queen would pronounced prize.
