Christmas Tree

I'm sure this Christmas tree in Rose Street is now a major Edinburgh attraction. But I thought that by itself it wasn't sufficiently interesting so waited until I could get a silhouette or two into the picture as well. Just as well, because shortly after I took this I bumped into the ever mercurial kasty. She was on her way to a pub and then (and I think I heard this correctly) off to collect an award acknowledging her writing skills. She seemed terribly modest about the latter, but I'm sure it's well deserved.
