a relic from earlier times

This old pump in Muthill near Crieff, evoked memories of my time as a petrol pump attendant- a grand title in itself. Petrol caps were hidden to flummox - Cortinas had them behind the number plate; Hillman Imps were in the bonnet and on old Humbers you had to unscrew the rear brake light.
