They've started!

The agapanthus flowers are at last beginning to burst from their tight pointed buds. This one is the first on a plant that has been for many years out in the flower bed. Not as strong now as it used to be, but in contrast the plant I have in a big pot is thriving this year. There are more than twenty buds on it, they are difficult to count. I am sure they will be a future blip.

I wanted to be outside today but it was just too hot. The hedge men came for about an hour but gave up, they couldn't cope. I'm not sure when they are coming back.
