Wild Chicory

What a beautiful day today--71 degrees (F) and very little humidity--all the windows are wide open with a nice fresh breeze coming in! Time to get rid of all the cold germs that keep circulating here inside the house!!
I ran to the store this morning, then went for a lovely walk along the bluffs above the Lake. Lots of bees and butterflies and wildflowers, not to mention bikers, joggers, and people sitting on the benches just looking out over the water. I think everyone's enjoying the break from those ridiculously high temperatures we've been having! 
And finally, all of the holes along the edge of our yards (from the new gas line installation) have finally been filled in, new sod put over the dirt and the orange drums and netting all removed from our block. This morning a watering truck came around to water all the sod, so we're finally back to normal!
