Juliette outdoors
This is a first! Juliette has refused to go outside since about last August. She is fearful of Soft Cell who stares at her without blinking and takes the opportunity to pounce. But today she has ventured outdoors as far as the pond which is close to the house. As long as we are also outside , I think she feels safe.
We arrived home from France at about 8.15pm last night and were served a delicious meal by our housesiitters. They cared really well for all our animals and looked after the garden and vegetables admirably, spending a lot of time watering the plants and tending to vegetables that were beginning to rot. . It is such a pleasure to return from a trip and find contented animals, a spotless house and cared for garden. This morning they departed for another house sit in Edinburgh, then it's 3 months touring Turkey, followed by Australia and New Zealand. An amazing academic couple who have left a busy work/Lifestyle to travel the world without commitments (apart from the house sits).
The day has been busy with the usual post holiday chores of washing etc. It was 32C this afternoon and I wonder if is ever going to rain.
Now back home with proper WiFi conhection, I will catch up on blip commenting and my apologies for all those missed ones.
