Moths continued.......

So hot I can do nothing but photograph the moths in my fridge! 
This real beauty must have been unseen on the outside of the trap, because when I got home from work he was sitting on the curtains, waiting for me.
The Black Arches Lymantria monacha is an attractive moth distributed throughout the south of Britain, with the males in particular readily attracted to light. I catch a few each year, and always look forward to seeing it.
