Nous sommes en France!

A good breakfast in Stockport! I was awake to see a beautiful dawn!

Train to London where we took the Eorostar to Paris! Very hot waiting for the Eurostar we left late and arrived even later, but we slept the whole way through the Chunnel! So no photos! Train goes too fast for a meaningful photo. Arrived in Paris and made our way to near Bercy.

Our first room hadn’t been finished, the second had faulty air on so we are finally in a good one, been to the local small Carefour and eaten!

France and Belgium through! Delighted!

One of my friends had an operation yesterday and the powers that be are very hopeful that all the cancer had been removed! So pleased!

Lastly Em, our eldest Granddaughter has just obtained a 1st Class Honours in Photography! More to celebrate!!

Just ate in the room. It’s got a mini kitchen, bathroom etc and a bed that goes up against the wall leaving plenty of room!!

The above is a naked lady looking very cold, even in the torrid heat but no one is paying her the slightest attention! Just liked the pattern of the people and the lines of the buildings! We are on the 8th floor. And the weather forecast is Paris 31°C !!
