Bushy the Brushturkey

So i get home and the chicken pen is chocas full 3 hens, 2 parrots and a Brushurkey.
Brushturkeys are not the most beautiful of Australia's birds but they are native. For Aussies Brushturkey is harder to say than Bush Turkey so thats what we mostly call them. AND for a bird with the name turkey they arent even related to turkeys, rather to the  malleefow. 

These guys were nearly extinct in the 1930's and I am happy to say they are doing ok now. Happy to have this fella share with my chickens
