New Moomin teapot acquisition

I have loved the Moomins since I first learnt to read in the late 1960s/early 1970s, so just imagine my joy this evening when alfthomas and ArcLight presented me with this marvellous teapot from Helsinki! I am looking forward to drinking the tea that I will brew in it (in the company of my Recovery Moomin, of course).

My day: visiting a sick friend who was diagnosed with cancer not long after I was, but with a far worse prognosis; on campus preparing materials with Bruce for next Wednesday's conference; a lovely dinner with alfthomas and ArcLight to start the weekend.

Exercise today: walking (18,330 steps)
