Kirkstone Pass

Rob, Pepper and I had a hike up the Red Screes in search of the Mountain Ringlet. Slightly cooler today, only 23! Alas no ringlet but we had a good walk, returning down the north slope and up by the Patterdale road, passing the Kirkstone. (See extra)
I have never noticed it before, but it stands tall and definitely church shaped. Also found a geocache nearby!
Some ripe bilberries and a few mountain flowers made for a great walk.
