A Day of Reminiscing

You see, today my youngest daughter turned 50!!  Where have all those years gone?  Remembering back to when she was a baby, then a school girl, teenager, followed by 20 something, and a keen traveler.  Now she is the mother to my lovely little 'h'.  We celebrated this morning by going out for brunch, then we are having another family meal this evening.  They are heading to Fiji for a holiday, (it's the school holidays in nz), getting away from the winter blues.

We got a lot of rain  overnight, (snow on the ski fields), and the lake is filling up quite fast.  The tree is back in the lake where it belongs.  The extra missed the cut.
