Sweet Cicely

This is the latest addition to our herb collection, inspired by our visit to Coutts Skyline Garden where we came across it. It has a very distinctive aniseed flavour which goes well with soft fruit like strawberries. It prefers a sunny or partially shaded position, so I'm hoping it will cope with this hot spell. Anyway, part of the fun of gardening is trying out new things and seeing how they get on!
