Settling down

At last a small white butterfly has settled long enough for me to catch it on camera. She seemed to have taken a liking to the raspberry plant my sister gave me. This is its first fruiting and already the birds (or something) helped themselves to the first ripe fruit. I picked the next, and have put it in the fruit bowl with bananas to finish ripening. Hope I manage to pick the remainder before some other critter helps itself, but they're not quite ripe yet, and I don't have a net.

Hot and sunny again, yet I'm actually tempted to watch the footie this afternoon. That would then be my second match in 52 years! This could become a habit.

At least I've not yet started singing, Foot-ball's-com-ing-ho-ome!
