An early bath......hope not!!!

Warm last night, managed to sleep ok, but woke early!

Not very hungry this morning, so skipped breakfast, did some watering before a walk into town, which was very busy, as its Haydock Races again today, with the big old Newton Cup race. We called in Reds, also very busy, for coffee and a toasted sandwich.

We actually have some clouds today, but its still very hot when the sun is fully out! This wood pigeon took refuge in our birdbath......I thought it looked really comical as it literally fills the whole bath :-) It sat there for a good few minutes, with the odd flap and splash.
Think it fits the bill for the Silly Saturday challenge.

We are back home now, done a couple of little jobs that needed doing, anything to pass the time until 3pm......not long now!! Just thought Id pass a bit more time uploading my blip!

I hope we are all still roaring come 4.30/5pm and not taking an early bath!! :-/
