Another search...

with negative results. As it was a hot, sunny morning went to survey the shingle banks here for the Northern Silver Stilleto fly but didn’t find any. However, it was a lovely day for a shamble along the river, finding the Sand Martins still have young in their nest holes, the Wheatears are still feeding young, seeing lots of Golden Ringed Dragonflies, Painted Ladies, Fritilleries and every other fly!
Later watched the Golden Ringed laying in the burn behind the house!
