Low Tide at Greenhead Park

FRIDAY

Another hot day. Site visits in Dewsbury this morning followed by an afternoon in the office.

The park lakes in Dewsbury and in Huddersfield are rapidly drying out due to the lack of rainfall.

It would appear that the local newspaper hacks are planning to run a story. Filling the lake with mains water would cost the Council several thousand pounds per lake. Currently the ducks and geese don't seem to be in any distress.

Harriet is due home this evening.
